70s Album Rock on Vinyl Records (Part 1)
We have musically explored the 1970s in the past covering Radio Hits, Disco, Funk, Soul & Hawaiian from that decade. However we have yet to venture into the area of Album Rock, the songs most commonly heard on the era's new stereo FM radio. These stations were the Spotify of that time exposing listeners to longer album versions of hits and an album's non-singe tracks. Why are Vinyl Records SO Popular... AGAIN?
It seems like every other day we’re confronted with a new technological wonder that everybody is flocking to, but amidst all the hype there’s a quiet trend towards one of the oldest audio technologies available: vinyl records. But are these relics actually the peak of musical experience, or are we just riding the nostalgia train?
